More efficient space for Uniform Room staff
“Before, it was chaotic. Now, everything has a spot. It's clean, inviting and relaxing.” Terry Gottselig Uniform Clerk
An improvement team at Regina General Hospital’s Uniform Room reduced the number of scrubs on hand by 90 per cent (from 8,046 pieces to 607), removed excess shelving and equipment and created dedicated work areas for folding and sewing. The Region no longer requires a large scrub inventory because it has moved to a generic, provincially pooled linen system. The improvement team was led by 3S Health and included Region staff.
