Better equipping new managers

“It was great having one-on-one sessions with each of the consultants (Human Resources and corporate supports) who assist my area. I was able to put a face to a name very quickly and could ask questions which encouraged rapport development.” Julie Longo, Manager RPIW 67

Manager onboarding (orientation) has been improved to better equip new managers for their role. The manager’s first three months is now dedicated to learning about their work environments and supports available, as well as building relationships.

Using a learner-centred approach, this experience is a shared responsibility, supporting organizational performance, accountability and engagement.
