There are approximately 5,000 restaurant type facilities in Saskatchewan. In the Regina Qu’Appelle Health Region these facilities are subject to inspection by the Environmental Health Department Public Health Inspectors. Public Health Inspectors inspect to determine compliance and level of risk based on The Food Safety Regulation and Public Eating Establishment Standards. A summary of the inspection results are made available to the public through the Saskatchewan Health Webpage.
