Sunrise Clinical Manager (SCM) provides real time point of care or a remote access to your patients’ available health care information.  This includes all patient visits where you have been identified as the Most Responsible Physician (MRP), the Consultant, or the Family Physician.

Replacement of the Enovation patient registration system is scheduled to conclude on February 25,2017, thus marking the date when SCM will be utilized by providers as the sole source to electronically view “patient lists”, with the option to trigger a paper copy of the list when logged into SCM.

Another benefit to utilization of SCM for electronic patient information is a reduction in the amount of paper that is generated and stored.

Beginning January 1, 2017, any patient information that can be obtained electronically in SCM will no longer be available in paper form as part of an old chart – access to SCM will be necessary to obtain  lab and medical imaging results, echocardiogram results, electronic clinical documents generated in SCM, and all dictated and transcribed documents generated in Dictaphone.  Please note some important dates below.

The Knowledge and Technology Support team would like to hear from you about any concerns or barriers you are experiencing with the functionality and/or gaining access to SCM and would like to work with you to resolve these issues. Please contact Lori Hopfauf by email lori.hopfauf@rqhealth.ca or by phone (306)766-6873 or call the IT Help Desk (306)766-7979 if you would like to discuss.

If you are a novice, infrequent SCM user who may need a refresher, or a first time SCM user, the Information Technology Department has a variety of options available for in-service and learning.  For your convenience, informational posters and a link to a schedule of training/learning options, FAQs and SCM training videos can be seen below.
