Research & Performance Support in the RQHR - July 2017 Update

Considerable clinical research and improvement activities take place within the RQHR. These activities are integral to promoting excellence and collaboration in health care. The RQHR Research and Performance Support Department can assist you with any or all of the steps in the project cycle, including:

  1. Assistance in transforming management/policy issues into study questions.
  2. Designing appropriate study methods, including the development, implementation and analyses of logic frameworks, outcome measures, and health indicators.
  3. Developing a budget and identifying potential funding sources, if necessary.
  4. Preparing a Research Ethics Board (REB) application, if required.
  5. Designing surveys and posting to FluidSurveys® or RedCap.
  6. Developing a database.
  7. Conducting basic and/or complex statistical analyses.
  8. Identifying, training and supervising research assistants to help with data collection.
