Practitioner Staff Affairs Regina Department News - April 2018

In an effort to continue with transparency in practice and open communication with the practitioner staff, the PSA office would like to convey information related to concern handling, contract processing and recruitment efforts.

  • The PSA office continues to work through both administrative medical leadership contracts and clinical contracts. The Senior Medical Leadership and Practitioner Staff Affairs are pleased to welcome to following new interim medical leaders:
    • Dr. Tim Rosser - Acting Interim Area Lead, Department of Anesthesiology
    • Dr. Abid Lodhi - Acting Interim Area Lead, Department of Pediatrics
  • We wish to extend a sincere thank you to the outgoing Area Department Leads for their time commitment and leadership provided to their respective departments.
  • The PSA office is currently assisting medical leadership (Division Leads/Area Leads and the Area Chief of Staff (ACOS)) with 35 existing practitioner concerns. 5 new practitioner concerns were forwarded in the last 30 days and 9 have been closed.
  • Our recruiting staff continue to work with departments to address the practitioner demands of the authority. 6 new practitioners have been recruited to the Regina area in the last 30 days.
