Practitioner Staff Affairs Department News

In regard the TTL program we have recruited four of the TTL positions. Interviews will be progressing in March for the Trauma Surgeon position.

The target date for practitioner reappointments has passed, any outstanding reappoints should be forwarded to Practitioner Staff Affairs as soon as possible via email at: or via fax at 306-766-3459.

In an effort to increase transparency and facilitate open communication with the practitioner staff, the PSA office would like convey information related to concern handling and contract processing.

  • The PSA office is currently assisting medical leadership (Section Heads/Department Heads and the SMO) with 16 practitioner concerns, relating to 12 practitioners. 3 concerns were brought forward in February and 3 concerns were closed in February.
  • The PSA office is currently working through administrative medical leadership contracts and clinical contracts, both new positions and renewal of existing contracts. The patience of those practitioner staff with contacts in progress is greatly appreciated. 8 new contracts have been created and offered to medical leaders in the past 6 weeks. Outstanding contracts remain a priority for the PSA office.
