Liaison Committee Update – Academic Health Sciences

29-Nov-2017

The second meeting of the Liaison Committee was held on October 6, 2017.

The Liaison Committee was created as a result of the Memorandum of Understanding signed between the College of Medicine and Regina Qu’Appelle Health Region with a purpose to provide strategic oversight for the Regina Campus.

The Committee reviewed terms of reference for the working groups and has now asked that they begin to establish. A framework on how and where performance metrics related to the Campus will be reviewed was also discussed. Committee members acknowledged that Health Authority members to the Liaison Committee are expected to change in the near future as we move to become the Saskatchewan Health Authority; but reinforced the importance of the Liaison Committee and its contributions to the success of the Regina Campus.
