Enovation Replacement GO LIVE is here

Go live for a fully implemented Sunrise Enterprise Registration (SER) patient admission, discharge and transfer system is here.

Transition to the new SER system happened on February 25 meaning the Enovation system is no longer be available to register patients.

  • All patient demographics and visit registrations will be done in SER.
  • Patient Alert information will be viewable in SCM as comments and/or health issues and will not be printed on patient armbands, blue cards and labels.
  • Patient lists and reports will now be available to view or print from SCM and/or SER. Enovation –generated, scheduled reports will no longer be available.
  • New MRNs will be issued in the 3000000 range and new visit numbers will be issued in the 40000000 range.  All previous MRNs and visit numbers will remain the same.

What do I do if I have problems?

  • A  regional site coordination centre is being set up at the main registration area at the Regina General Hospital
  • A hotline number will be available at Go Live and for 2 weeks following.  The number is 306-766-3444 and someone will be available 24/7 to route your call to the appropriate support area.  Please call this number for all registration system support issues for the first two weeks.
  • Please continue to use the IT Support line for all other support requests.
  • Super Users and IT Support personnel will be on hand at the busiest, key sites including Regina General Hospital, Pasqua Hospital, Bedline, All Nations Healing Hospital, and South East Integrated Care Centre on Saturday, Feb 25, and at additional locations when they begin using the new system on Monday,  Feb. 27.
  • SCM IT resources will be available on site to support clinical staff at  RGH, Pasqua Hospital and WRC through the transition to add and view  health issues and comments, view and print lists
  • User Guides are available on the intranet.

What changes have already occurred and what else to expect prior to February 25th?

  • As of Feb. 12, the name that appears on the patient’s Health Services card is the standard name used to register patients.  Please be aware that this means we are in a period of transition with patients registered prior to Feb. 12 having armbands with preferred name and those registered after that date having armbands with the name from their Health Services card.
  • On  Feb. 18 at 3 a.m., there will be short, one and a half hour SCM downtime to accommodate some system changes necessary to turn on the registration functions. Normal notices of service disruption will be circulated and planned downtime procedures will be in effect.

For anyone in your area needing an SCM refresher, access or training IT has some options for learning and support, including:
