Clinical Quality Plan Update - July 2017

26-Jul-2017

The Ministry has followed through on its promise of funding for the appropriateness agenda. That funding, coupled with a restructuring of our Quality and Strategy Business Unit has set us up for success in our ambitious Clinical Quality Plan.

The Ministry has followed through on its promise of funding for the appropriateness agenda.  That funding, coupled with a restructuring of our Quality and Strategy Business Unit has set us up for success in our ambitious Clinical Quality Plan.

Our first report card is in development.  We are meeting with Dr. Alan Beggs to provide the construct and initial data sets for the Orthopedic Report Card.  We hope to roll out report cards at the rate of one per month over the next few months for the program areas in Trauma, Cardiology and Critical Care; and in the Sections of Orthopedics, Nephrology, General Surgery and Cardiology; and the Department of Critical Care.
