“Beyond The Bedside” - HIPP Conference 2017

I am on the organizing committee for the annual Health Innovation and Public Policy Conference for which the theme this year is ‘Beyond the Bedside’.

This is an annual multidisciplinary student-run conference that attracts around 500 attendees and high-profile speakers. We were hoping that you could help us spread the word about this year’s conference which will be held on  Wednesday March 15th from 1:30-5pm in Room E1150 of the Health Sciences building in Saskatoon with  Teleconferencing to the Regina General Hospital Auditorium. We have some very exciting speakers coming, including Dr. Granger Avery (CMA President), André Picard (Globe & Mail Health Columnist), Dr. Ubaka Ogbogu (Faculty of Law & Pharmaceutical Sciences, U of A), Dr. Jaris Swidrovich (First Nations doctor of pharmacy, HIV/AIDS activist), and Marilou Gagnon (Nurse, Founder of The Radical Nurse, UOttawa Associate Professor).

The conference is open to anyone, free to attend, is CME accredited, and we are working on getting funding for lunch in Regina.

Attendees must register for free on the Picatic page by March 10th.

We also have a Facebook event page

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Kind regards,
