Antimicrobial Stewardship Program – 5 Minute Update

Attached is the Antimicrobial Stewardship Program 5 Minute Update and “Save the Date” invitation for the first Saskatchewan Antimicrobial Stewardship (AMS) Symposium. It is important to note that this event has no registration fee and is intended for all health designations, champions and stakeholder of AMS.

This month focuses on:

  • Influenza Prevention, the flu season is just around the corner.  Flu clinics have been announced; see the update for details and link. 
  • The Department of Pediatrics collaborated over the summer to develop an information pamphlet for parents and family members of children who have upper respiratory tract illnesses (URTI).
  • Special thanks to our Community physicians who are preparing for the flu season, see update for details.
