Spiritual Care
The Regina Qu'Appelle Health Region Spiritual Care department provides Spiritual Care to Regional clients, their families and staff. Spiritual Care includes religious care, pastoral care and other forms of care of the human spirit appropriate to the client's faith tradition, individual beliefs and practices, and preferences.
Spiritual Care plays a role in wellness, which is promoted to staff and volunteers within the Region and to the community at large.
Spiritual care and counselling, including bereavement counselling, is provided by Program Chaplains (paid by the Region) and by Designated Chaplains (paid by individual faith communities).
The Spiritual Care Advisory Committee provides liaison between the Region and the Faith Community.
