Palliative Care: Regina Palliative Care Inc (RPCI) and Greystone Bereavement Centre

Regina Palliative Care Incorporated (RPCI)

Regina Palliative Care Inc. is a non-profit charitable organization governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. RPCI works closely with Palliative Care Services and other partners to support and enhance palliative care and bereavement programs. The achievements of RPCI are a result of donations and generous volunteer community support.

What does RPCI do?

  • RPCI supports palliative program delivery in hospitals, home care and hospice by providing resources to help staff access training and educational opportunities. We contribute to the enhancement and operation of services such as home care, spiritual care, volunteers, occupational therapy, social work and music therapy.

  • RPCI supports the purchase of specialized equipment to assist individuals and their families.

  • RPCI operates the Greystone Bereavement Centre.

Butterfly Memory Mural

Some families choose to make gifts to RPCI in memory of their loved one or to designate RPCI as a charity of choice by asking friends and family to contribute as well.

When memorial contributions exceed $200 the family will have the option of placing an engraved brass butterfly in memory of their loved one on a butterfly memory mural located on the Palliative Care Unit at the Pasqua Hospital. The family will be notified when memorial contributions exceed $200 and will have the option of determining the wording of the engraving. For more information regarding this option or donations please phone 766-2300.
