The Autism Resource Centre provides home and community-based support, counselling and treatment for children, youth and adults in the Regina Qu'Appelle Health Region (and Service Areas) with autism or pervasive developmental disorders. Phoenix Residential Society
Phoenix operates a Group Home (Phoenix House), a Supportive Apartment Living Program (PALS), a Vocational Training Program and a Dual-Diagnosis (mentally ill with substance abuse problem) Residential Treatment Program (Westview), for persons with long-term mental illness. Rainbow Youth Centre
Rainbow uses a combination of professional staff and peer-counsellors to provide community-based support, counselling and intervention services to hard-to-reach, mostly inner city youth, ages 11 to 25, who are at risk for, or who live a 'street' lifestyle. The CMHA, Regina Branch, provides a variety of programs for the long-term mentally ill, including Pre-Employment/Social Recreation program (drop-in centre), a Life Skills Program, a Vocational Program (housecleaning, janitorial, canteen, lunch program, work crews and counselling), a Clerical Program and a Social Leisure Outreach Program. |
