Gastroenterology and Endoscopy GI/Endoscopy Units The Regina Qu’Appelle Health Region’s Gastrointestinal (GI) and Endoscopy Units provide specialized Gastroenterology and Endoscopy services to all Saskatchewan residents. All tests and procedures are ordered by family physicians or specialists. There are two sites: the GI Unit is located in the Pasqua Hospital and the Endoscopy Unit is located in the Regina General Hospital. Both units provide extensive endoscopic services as well as several diagnostic procedures and treatment. Between the two sites there are approximately 30,000 tests, procedures and treatments done annually. The Team Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Operating Room Technicians, Office Assistants and Unit Support Clerks staff the units. Gastroenterologists, Respirologists, Surgeons and Urologists use the specialized equipment in the units to provide the latest in treatments and procedures. Services provided include:

Arriving at the Hospital:When you arrive please register with the Registration/Admissions, located on Level 1 near the front entrance at both hospitals. Come prepared to stay for two to six hours.
