Ethics Support Services: Consultation Process and Confidentiality

The consultation process will include the following:

1. Reason for the request;
2. Description of the situation including history, circumstances and present status;
3. Clarification of the ethical issues; and
4. Discussion.

Confidentiality

The Ethics Committee is bound by all Regina Qu'Appelle Health Region policies pertaining to the release of information.

Records of consultation made by the Committee will be maintained using appropriate means to ensure confidentiality.
