Emergency Medical Services: Transport Fees

As of February 1, 2011

Provincial Resident:

     Provided by Regina Emergency Medical Services:

• transport within Regina city limits - $325.00
• transport outside of city limits - Basic Fee of $325.00 plus $2.30 per kilometer
• cancelled calls may be subject to a charge of $162.50; plus $2.30 per kilometer outside of city limits
• seniors pay a maximum of $250.00 - this does not apply to cancelled calls and not all transports are covered - eligibility is determined by the Ministry of Health

     Provided by Rural Emergency Medical Services:

• Basic Transport Fee of $245.00; plus $2.30 per kilometer
• cancelled calls may be subject to a charge of $245.00; plus $2.30 per kilometer
• seniors pay a maximum of $250.00 - this does not apply to cancelled calls and not all transports are covered - eligibility is determined by the Ministry of Health

Out of Province Resident:

•      Out of Province Resident Transport Fee is $330.00; plus $2.90 per kilometer
