Population and Public Health Services: Seniors' Healthy Living Program The Seniors' Healthy Living Program supports and promotes the health, dignity and well-being of the older adult. Two public health nurses who specialize in seniors’ issues provide support and information to older adults and those who care about them, allowing them to make more informed choices. Working with other Regina Qu’Appelle Health Region (RQHR) departments and other organizations in the community, they provide information, education, and referral to other professionals. In addition, they plan, organize and deliver the annual fall influenza campaign. The influenza vaccine is provided at no direct cost to all members of the public. Influenza clinics are established at various locations throughout the community in the fall and winter months of every year. For more information call: 766-7766 or 766-7767. |
