Breastfeeding Support Centre Offers Free Advice and Support

01-Jan-2014

Update - October 26, 2016

As the Regina Qu’Appelle Health Region moves to a more client centred approach, the breastfeeding support services that we offer will be provided in homes and via phone as part of the postnatal service provided by Public Health nurses.

While this support remains a priority, the RQHR will no longer be offering our drop-in Breastfeeding Support Centre on Wednesday afternoons. The region is looking into expanding the service to six days per week in our Primary Health Care Networks. Mothers requiring this service can call their local Public Health office.

We would encourage any families with questions or concerns about breastfeeding to contact a Public Health nurse directly at 306-766-7500.
