3/9/2015:  The Chair of the Regina Qu’Appelle Regional Health Authority (RQRHA) Board of Directors, Lloyd Boutilier, has announced his resignation, which was effective Feb. 28, 2015.

RQHR Working to Minimize Midwifery Service Disruption

2/24/2015:  The Regina Qu’Appelle Health Region (RQHR) is working to minimize the disruption to midwifery clients due to a temporary shortage of midwives in the region.

RQHR Expanding Long Term Care Regional Placement Protocol July 1

2/17/2015:  All clients in the Regina Qu’Appelle Health Region in need of long-term care will be included in the region’s “first available bed” placement protocol beginning July 1, 2015.

Provincial Government, CUPE and Health Regions Sign Partnership

RQHR Asks Unimmunized Visitors to Mask for 2014 Flu Season

11/27/2014:  On December 1, visitors who have not been immunized against the influenza virus will be asked to wear masks while in Regina Qu’Appelle Health Region (RQHR) facilities.

8/29/2014:  The Regina Qu’Appelle Health Region (RQHR) has improved its oversight process for automated faxing of patient reports following a computer software error that resulted in the misdirection of 13 patients’ reports.

Electronic Medical Records Operational at Primary Health Care Centres in Fort Qu’Appelle, Balcarres and Lestock Effective May 1, 2014

4/28/2014:  ​The Regina Qu’Appelle Health Region (RQHR) will be expanding its Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system to primary health care centres in Fort Qu’Appelle, Balcarres and Lestock in order to improve the quality of care for clients.

Milestone 500th Electrophysiology Procedure Completed

4/14/2014:  The Kinsmen Telemiracle Foundation Electrophysiological Lab reached a milestone Monday March 10th, as the 500th Electrophysiology procedure since the inception of the lab was successfully completed.
