Regina Qu'Appelle Regional Health Authority The Regina Qu’Appelle Regional Health Authority (RQRHA) is the governing body of the Regina Qu'Appelle Health Region. The nine members of the Authority are appointed by the Minister of Health under the Regional Health Services Act. Under the Act the RQRHA has responsibility for ensuring all health care programs are effectively and efficiently planned, delivered, monitored and evaluated on behalf of the residents of the RQHR. Information About Authority MeetingsThe Regina Qu’Appelle Regional Health Authority holds monthly business meetings. These meetings are open to the public. Authority Committee Structure In fulfilling its responsibilities, the Authority has established a Committee of the Whole. The purpose of the Committee of the Whole is to provide an opportunity for all Board members to be involved in presentations, discussions and decisions on strategic matters. The Committee shall function in an advisory capacity to the RQRHA by recommending policy and advice on matters under its purview. The Board may from time to time establish special or ad hoc committees that will assist the Board in carrying out specific functions. The Committee will plan, review, monitor, and evaluate strategic issues related to the Region's four Strategic Priorities, as follows:
