WBSCH Mission
The Mission of The Salvation Army WBSCH is to provide comprehensive services for the spiritual, physical, emotional, psychological and social well-being of the individual.

WBSCH Role Statement
The Salvation Army WBSCH, in cooperation with the Regina Qu’Appelle Health Region (RQHR), is committed to providing holistic care for all people. We seek to provide this service embodied in Christian principles, values and ethics. The holistic approach is facilitated through an Interdisciplinary Team approach that is Resident Focused valuing family and community input.

WBSCH provides residential level 3 & 4 care for 53 residents. All resident rooms are private accommodation. The charge for long term residential care is set by the Ministry of Health and is based on the client’s income.

The Respite Care program provides periodic/short-term respite for caregivers and an alternative to institutionalization for the client. The charge for respite care is set by the RQHR and is based on the client’s income.

The Convalescent Care program provides additional short-term recuperation support after surgery or serious illness. The focus of convalescent care is centered on activities of daily living and Physiotherapy treatment. The charge for convalescent care is set by the RQHR and is based on the client’s income.

The Adult Day Support program provides recreation, socialization and personal care for clients and daytime respite for caregivers. The program runs 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., seven days a week. The daily charge is set by the Ministry of Health.

All potential admissions to The Salvation Army WBSCH are assessed / approved by the Regina Qu’Appelle Health Region’s System Wide Admission & Discharge Department (SWADD).
