Saskatchewan Association for Safe Workplaces in Health (SASWH) Annual AGM and Education Conference Value Safety, Value You Senior leaders, occupational health & safety professionals, and employees within the healthcare industry - don't miss this opportunity to attend an exciting industry event on March 22, 2018 in Regina, Saskatchewan.

This is a free event for healthcare employers and workers and should be an excellent educational day on the value of safety and the value of front line healthcare workers.

This conference, hosted by SASWH, is an all-day healthcare-related event with an educational component. It will be an excellent opportunity to network and hear how SASWH supports the industry in safety.

Our keynote speakers brings a blend of messaging to our AGM and Conference that reminds us of our value and collectively they will remind us of the importance for each of us to know our value. The first value in this year’s theme aligns to the definition that safety is important and the second value reminds us that, as a member of the healthcare team, you are important - both safety and you the worker are valued. ALLAN KEHLER: is a highly sought-after speaker who aims to empower his audience to live opposed to exist. Allan spent a significant amount of his life persevering through mental health issues and addictions. On the outside, people saw the man who was president of his school, athlete of the year and national scholarship winner. However, on the inside was a man who was in pain. A university professor saw beneath the mask and changed Allan’s life through a simple process. Allan shares this approach in his message and reassures his audience that nobody needs to be fixed. Rather, the value of being seen and heard is immeasurable. His first book Stepping Out from the Shadows: A Guide to Understanding & Healing from Addictions has been incorporated into college curricula. GARRISON WYNN: Garrison is authentic – a guy who’s been there. He’s a chemical plant explosion survivor who has developed environmental safety products still in use worldwide. He expertly fuses his experiences into key takeaways such as how to build the trust and relationships that make consistent safety a reality. He delivers those takeaways using a humorous approach that will have serious impact on participants. He will get people laughing, learning and motivated to create a culture of safety while maintaining productivity. This program focuses on developing the personal influence to make things stick, whether you’re helping leaders move change through their locations or getting workers to look out for each other on the job site.
