Job Description
Reporting to the Manager, the Resident Care Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the highest standard of care and service is provided to residents. As an experienced practitioner, the Resident Care Coordinator acts in a leadership role to provide specialized clinical expertise, coordination of resident care and support and teaching to the resident care team (including residents and families) within a collaborative environment. The routine procedures are generally predetermined but critical thinking and independent judgment is an integral part of the position.

Qualifications
Graduate of an approved School of Nursing. Current knowledge and minimum of three (3) years recent experience in long term care nursing with a team environment is required. Current registration with SRNA and /or RPNAS and current BCLS Certificate.
