Regina Area is Looking for Physicians to Take Part in an On-Call Rota for the Youth Detox

Participation in the on-call rota is remunerated by a $210,000 annual stipend to be shared between participants. This is not an SECP on-call stipend. Physicians will need to partner with their colleagues to manage the call rota and ensure complete coverage and delivery of service within the timelines outlines in the YDDSA. When making quality improvements, it is often difficult to move the dial on practice change.  In October 2016 our targeted audit saw 41% of antimicrobial orders written with an indication included in the order; as of February 2017, it is 72%.  This is a tremendous accomplishment; however, we still need to strive for 100% as we continue to audit the physician’s orders.  Read more...

It's important all physicians use Sunrise Clinical Manager (SCM) to access patient lists and electronic health information starting early in 2017.
