External Research Associate University of Regina Key Interests: strategic management of health organizations, and the impact of the culture on the health services.

Dr. Jean-Marie Nkongolo-Bakenda holds a PhD in Business Administration from Laval University (Quebec City) and is Associate Professor of Strategic Management and International Business at the Faculty of Business Administration, University of Regina. Dr. Nkongolo-Bakenda has published numerous articles and book chapters on globally oriented small and medium-sized enterprises, organizational learning, organizational scanning, aboriginal and ethnic entrepreneurship, and strategic vision. Some of his works have appeared in such journals as Revue Internationale PME, Journal of Comparative International Management, and The Journal of Entrepreneurial Finance & Business Ventures.

Jean-Marie Nkongolo-Bakenda has served as the President of the Canadian Council for Small Business and Entrepreneurship (CSBE) and as member of the International Council for Small Business (ICSB). He is member of professional organizations such as The Strategic Management Society and the Academy of Management. He is active in his community through different roles on the boards of different nonprofit organizations and his profile is featured in the Monclair Publishing’s “Who’s Who Among Executives and Professionals”.

Dr. Nkongolo-Bakenda’s interests in the Health areas focus on the strategic management of health organizations and the impact of the culture on the health services.
