External Research Associate University of Regina Key Interests: complex interrelationships among social context factors (such as economic status, gender, ethnicity, and social support), health (including chronic conditions and disability), and traumatic stress.

Dr. Bridget Klest received her PhD in clinical psychology from the University of Oregon, and completed pre-doctoral and postdoctoral clinical training at the San Diego Veterans Affairs Medical Center, University of Washington Department of Rehabilitation Medicine, and Seattle Veterans Affairs Medical Center. In August 2012 she joined the Department of Psychology at the University of Regina as an assistant professor, and she is a registered doctoral psychologist in Saskatchewan. Dr. Klest is head of the Social Context, Health, and Trauma Lab, where she and her students study the complex interrelationships among social context factors (such as economic status, gender, ethnicity, and social support), health (including chronic conditions and disability), and traumatic stress.
