The Communicable Disease and Sexual Health program works closely with professionals and members of the public to prevent and control the spread of communicable diseases in the Regina Qu'Appelle Health Region.

Communicable Disease Control

Public Health nurses in Communicable Disease Control work to prevent the spread of illness in our communities.  This includes investigating and following up on reports of illnesses that are of concern such as whooping cough, measles, Hepatitis A, B and C, sexually transmitted infections and many others. To report a communicable disease or to talk to a Public Health nurse call 306-766-7790.
